“NOKIA X” IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR RS 7,729 -
Nokia has slashed down the price of its very first Android smartphone that was launched in India last month. The smartphone Nokia X is now available with a price tag of Rs 7,729 on the company’s official site after receiving its first price drop of around Rs 850 and that too within a month.Initially the smartphone was launched for an MOP of Rs 8,599, as a mid range handset that positioned itself below Lumia handset line, but above the Asha range. Configuration wise the price of Nokia X was already considered slightly on the steeper side, but that’s not the reason why Nokia cut down the price. Soon other variants of the X series, namely, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL will enter the market.

BUY DSLR OR SMARTPHONE: HTC WILL MAKE YOU THINK BY 2015 -
The pace at which technology is transforming the smartphones, it would take hardly 12 to 18 months to bridge the gap between a mobile phone camera and a DSLR, revealed HTC’s Symon Whitehorn while talking to Vodafone. While sharing his thoughts he said, “Optical zooming in a smartphone is not too far off at all for HTC. I can’t give too much away, but within 12-18 months we’ll see huge advances in phone optics.”He added further saying, “Two years ago I would have said that phones will never replace DSLRs. Now I’m not so sure. I think there’ll always be a role for a dedicated camera, like for sports etc., but I think you’ll see the gap closing. Those cameras will become more specialized out of necessity – they can’t match the brain power that we can put into a phone.”
